2RichardTelekyRichard Teleky, a critically acclaimed fiction writer, critic and poet, is a Professor in the Humanities Department of York University, in Toronto, Ontario. His novels include The Blue Hour, Winter in Hollywood, Pack Up the Moon, and The Paris Years of Rosie Kamin; he is also the author of Goodnight, Sweetheart and Other Stories. His non-fiction books are Ordinary Paradise: Essays on Art and Culture, The Dog on the Bed: A Canine Alphabet, and Hungarian Rhapsodies: Essays on Ethnicity, Identity, and Culture. He has published two poetry collections: The Hermit in Arcadia and The Hermit’s Kiss. As editor, his anthologies include The Exile Book of Canadian Dog Stories and The Oxford Book of French-Canadian Short Stories. Teleky’s short fiction, essays and poems have appeared in numerous journals in Canada and the United States.
